Middleville Library
Celebrates 100 Years!!
100 years ago the Middleville Free Library opened with its first librarian Jennie Clark. There were just 325 traveling library books on the shelves. It was located on the corner of Park Ave and North Main St.
Since that time there have been 24 librarians. The collection now consists of roughly 10,000 books and other materials. The library also has 4 computers for public use, a fax machine, a laminator, & WiFi. Today the library is located in the back of Corey Memorial Hall, so it has not moved too far from its original spot.
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the Middleville Library’s Birthday in 2015!
